2020 Outdoor House league REGISTRATION

Dear Members

Due to the covid-19 pandemic we can no longer register players in person.  To protect our members and staff we have set up a online registration system for this season.  Below are instructions for completing the registration online.

Firstly as a not for profit organization the club depends on volunteers to help run our programs.  For our recreational house league program we will have volunteer coaches for all our divisions. Volunteering is the best way to give back to your community and can leave long lasting effects on the kids you coach.  Help us run a great program by volunteering your time on your child’s team.

If you are interested in volunteering as a head or assistant coach please email us at info@sctoronto.ca send us yours and your child’s name.

To register online

  1. Visit sctoronto.ca/register
  2. Create a profile or log in if you have used our system before
  3. Choose the Outdoor House league registration menu
  4. From the drop down choose the division your child can play in; (reference the playing days and locations for this information)
  5. Register and pay, receive a receipt in your inbox
  6. You must register each child individually

If you have never played with our club before we will need to confirm age of each child please email a copy of their Birth Certificate or Passport or drop off a copy through the clubhouse mail-slot anytime.

For those who can not register online please email us at info@sctoronto.ca

Playing Days and Locations

This information is to provide you with a guideline of the different phases that the program goes through. Our Club has grown to a point that we need a different way to communicate with our membership. You will not be receiving PHONE CALLS from Club to inform you of program events. Instead we are providing you with dates when activities are taking place and all you have to do is visit our website www.sctoronto.ca for exact times and locations. An email will also be sent to all who have provided one as a back-up.

Each year we bring out all of the participants that are registered for the outdoor season in order to evaluate their skill level. The reason for the skill evaluation is to ensure that when the Club puts the teams together, there is parity on the teams. The evaluation for this upcoming summer season will take place on Saturday May 2 & Sunday May 3. Schedule of Evaluation Days will be posted on our website www.sctoronto.ca under “House League” on April 15th, 2020 with times and location.

Uniform Distribution will take place Sunday May 24th at Wallace Emerson CC. Players will meet their coach and pick-up schedules for the season. It’s very important that all players show up to pick-up their uniforms, as sizing becomes a factor. Schedule of Uniform Distribution will be posted on our website www.sctoronto.ca under “House League” as of May 13th, 2020 with times.

The summer season is scheduled to open the week of Monday, June 1st with team games.

Our Club runs a REP program for boys and girls of all ages. For any player that is interested in trying out for a team, visit our website www.sctoronto.ca under “REP”. Tryouts will continue until all teams are full.

Sponsorship plays a key role in the success of our Club as it helps to offset the many costs associated with running the Club such as paying for equipment, field rentals and maintenance, coaches’ clinics and referee training. In addition, with the help of sponsorship contributions, the Club is able to fulfill one of its objectives of providing the highest quality of soccer programs at the lowest possible cost to our participants.

The cost to sponsor a house league team is $400.00. With each sponsor, your company name and logo will be advertised on the jerseys of a house league team consisting of 13 to 16 players, you will receive a team photo/plaque together with a jersey as a memento of your sponsorship and the Club will issue you a tax receipt.

SC Toronto is a community-based recreational league open to all players of any skill level and ability. Our House League program is strategically designed to offer fun and excitement to children in a team format, while supporting a healthy and active lifestyle for all players. The program is aligned with Long Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines put forth by the OSA, ensuring players get enough touches on the ball and are able to truly enjoy the beautiful game!
