Programs & Partnerships

As an inner-city club, we have several partnerships with our city government, and educational boards.

We also partner with several charity groups to facilitate payment for kids who can not afford to play, organizations include Ready Set Play- Big Brothers and Sister of Canada- Children’s Aid and Jump start. We offer in person registration in a barrier free accessible facility. Every year we field hundreds of players with the help of the programs like ready set play and Jumpstart. Below are some details on how each of the organizations work and how they impact our community.

Is open to anyone seeking help with sports fees, they offer kids free membership at several sports organizations in Toronto, parents can register online for this credit the questionnaire is very easy to complete and every registration is automatically directed to us. We have a direct contact with this organization and have helped hundreds of kids since its start up 6 years ago. Players have returned year after year with a ready set play credit. This is the most popular of our partners.

Canadian Tire program reducing financial barriers to thousands of Canadian kids each year. Jumpstart is online application process most parents use their local community centres to aid them in this process. Jumpstart usually takes a few months to send out cheques, we only require confirmation of approval we will wait for payment from jumpstart.

Any child who comes to us from big brothers and sisters receives a free membership to any of our recreational programs. We have a few girls and boys from this organization, this is one way that the big brother or sister can spend time with the child in need.

The children’s aid organization have direct contact with us, they will usually email us with how many kids will use our program for that year. Parents only need to come in and register. As a club we offer payment plans to any player who need help paying fees, we also direct them to the above organizations for additional help. We know that without help some kids would never get the chance to play on a team, we recognize that this experience must be accessible to all youth in the community regardless of age, gender, ability or disability.
