The Soccer Club of Toronto Grassroots Development program is for players from the age of under 8 to under 12 for both males and females. All players will train throughout the year under the direction of Jon Mondino (Technical Director).
The overall objective of SC Toronto’s Grassroots Development program is to create a developmental environment for every player that matches his/her individual playing needs and abilities.
U8 – 5 v 5 – Festival format, two games per festival of 30 mins (outdoor). One game of 50 min (indoor).
U9 – U10 – 7 v 7 – One game of 50 mins
U11 – U12 – 9 v 9 – One game of 70 mins

As an advocate for Long Term Player Development, the Soccer Club of Toronto strives to ensure our trials and invitationals are in line with those mandated by Ontario Soccer.
Program spaces will be filled by players identified by SC Toronto Technical Staff and age group head coaches through the Club’s Open Development, House League Programs and open trials.
