Joe Nucifora was the Technical Director of the Soccer Club of Toronto from 2015 – 2017. Joe was one of those pure soccer people that touched the lives of everyone he coached and worked with. His infectious smile, work ethic, love of the beautiful game and breadth of soccer knowledge, made having Joe an incredible asset to any of the organizations he had worked with. Joe served as the Technical Director of SC Toronto and previously as the Technical Director of the Pickering Soccer Club. Joe was a Regional coach with the Ontario Soccer as well as a goalkeeper coach with the Canada Soccer Women’s National youth program.
It is very rare to find a person that has the passion and dedication to the sport of soccer, Joe Nucifora was that person.
In honor of Joe’s memory for years to come, the Nucifora family and SC Toronto have started a Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund will be used to help aspiring SC Toronto players that embody the values and passion that Joe demonstrated and go on to post-secondary education.

This scholarship honors the memory of Joe Nucifora and his lasting impact on our soccer community. Emma and Luke have demonstrated not only talent on the field, but also leadership, dedication, and a commitment to excellence off the field.
